Mozport Limitada (full name; Mozport – Transport Investments of Mozambique Limited) was constituted in the city of Maputo in May 2007 and is licensed by the Mozambican Ministry of Transport to undertake the following activities at the ports of Maputo, Beira, Nacala and Pemba:

• Ships and Husbandry Agency
• Freight contracting and management
• Clearing and Forwarding of International Transit cargoes
• Warehousing of International Transit cargoes
• Tallying and Cargo Superintendency
• Auxiliary stevedoring services

The company was formed with the intention of facilitating and capitalizing on the resurgence and re-vitalization of the Mozambican seaports as a major regional ports following substantial recent investment in the port and its hinterland corridors. Mozport has within a short space of time become an established port agency company in all the main Mozambican ports, representing a number of major international ship-owners and cargo interests.

Mozport provides vessel & port agencies and logistics / supply chain services to a wide variety of customers in various industries. In addition to its general services, the company also offers offshore logistics services to the East-African Offshore / Oil & Gas industry both to permanent clients and on a project basis. Mozport also can offer yard management and mobilization / demobilization management services for Oil & Gas Support Vessel operators and drilling contractors, and project forwarding support services.
