Supermaritime Beira

The port of Beira in Mozambique is situated at the mouth of the Pungue River. The port serves the Mozambican interior as well as the republics of Malawi Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana, and handles dry and liquid bulk, breakbulk, containerised and fish cargoes. Bulk coal also handled at a transshipment anchorage some 20 n.m. off the coastline.

Beira port has a total of 11 berths stretching over a total length of 1994 meters, including 1 berth reserved for the fishing harbor. The port handles a variety of cargo from break-bulk, and bulk cargoes including petroleum products.

The port is open 24 hours a day although night navigation is restricted to vessels up to 7m drought and LOA of 140m.
