Supermaritime Takoradi serves both Takoradi and Sekondi Ports located at the Gulf of Guinea are Ghana’s most Southern Ports. Takoradi’s open sea harbour was constructed in 1928 and is well connected to road and rail systems connecting the inland to the harbour facility. This port is mainly an export port , exporting around 65% of Ghana’s commodities such as cocoa, manganese and bauxite ores. The oil finds in the past 2 decades in the Southern Ghana coast has attracted major investors and has made Takoradi a thriving town.

Supermaritime Takoradi has served the Oil & Gas / Offshore industries in Ghana since the infant stages in 2008 by offering logisics, husbandry and vessel support services to a wide variety of clients. Supermaritime Ghana offers a comprehensive range of Project Forwarding Solutions to both local and international clients and has in the recent years handled and transported a large volume of Out Of Gauge and Heavy project shipments. 

Supermaritime operates a 2300m2 walled / secured / bonded yard and a 3500m2 walled / secured yard in the Takoradi port area (just outside the port’s main gate). The services include yard management, storage solutions, loading and storage of offshore baskets and provision of local (skilled) personnel to manage the yard. Additional yard space can be secured upon request at a short distance from Takoradi port. Our yard is operate in strict adherence to our corporate HSE requirements and in recent years has been used to service project requirements of various Oil & Gas / Offshore Construction companies.
